What is a True Deal Checker?
It's a free calculator that reveals the real, effective price of a product once every discount, coupon, cashback, reward, tax, shipping charge and fee is taken into account — instead of trusting the headline sale price.
How is the true effective price calculated?
We start from the sale price, apply your extra percentage discount, subtract any fixed coupon, apply the bank or card discount, add tax, shipping and fees to get Pay Today, then subtract cashback and rewards to reach your True Effective Price.
What is the difference between sale price and effective price?
The sale price is what the store advertises. The effective price is what the deal actually costs you after every discount and after cashback or rewards you receive later.
Does cashback reduce the checkout price?
Usually no. Cashback is normally credited after the purchase, so it lowers your effective price but not the amount you pay today. That's why we show both figures separately.
How are stacked discounts calculated?
Sequentially. Percentage discounts apply to the running amount, fixed coupons are subtracted, and card discounts apply after — mirroring how most checkouts stack offers.
Can I compare two shopping offers?
Yes. The Compare Two Deals section computes the true effective price and price per item for each offer and highlights the better value.
Can I use this calculator in any country?
Yes. It works everywhere and supports many currency symbols. It's a universal, independent utility.
Does the currency selector convert currencies?
No. The currency selector only changes the displayed symbol. It never performs any live currency conversion.
Can this tool verify whether the original price is genuine?
No. It cannot check historical market prices or confirm that an original price is authentic. It only works with the values you enter.
Is my calculation stored on a server?
